To complement our team in Berlin or Dresden, we are looking for a:  Strategy & Performance Manager (f/m/d)

Your duties

In this role, you will be part of a highly motivated team of Experts. Our purpose is extensive and vital to the success of the company. We are constantly looking for new growth opportunities, evaluating market trends and connecting the strategic initiatives with the operational business. Strategy
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic direction and identify key priorities accordingly.
  • Develop and support the implementation of strategic initiatives and related KPIs to ensure VSB achieves our vision and long-term objectives.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to enable informed strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives, monitor progress and recommend necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcome.
Performance Management
  • Support the execution of company projects and strategic initiatives by developing and managing performance metrics to track progress as well as taking further targeted measures.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, address gaps, and point out opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with department and functional leaders to create and implement performance improvement plans.
  • Develop and deploy performance management solutions to sustain a LEAN organizational structure.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Provide hands-on leadership to the PMO team, ensuring they are well-trained, supported, and equipped for success.
  • Offer guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams engaged in company projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence across the organization.
  • Serve as a key liaison between senior management and operational teams to align strategic goals and realisation.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and consultants, as needed.

Your profile

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, strategic management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Over three years of experience in strategic planning, performance management, or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge in defining project management standards within complex organizational environments.
Skills
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving high performance and achieving organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities and meeting demanding deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change management concepts and measures.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional, intercultural teams, fostering collaboration and delivering successful project outcomes. 
  • Excellent communication and relational skills, enabling effective collaboration and meaningful impact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with a track record of devising innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Distinct analytical abilities, capable of transforming data into actionable insights that inform strategy.
  • Fluency in English and German and/or French. Further language skills are an advantage.
