Your duties

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and expanding team focused on developing innovative E-Mobility solutions. Your main responsibilities will include identifying, negotiating, and securing suitable sites for Mobility Energy Projects, as well as managing their development until the ready-to-build phase—overseeing the entire project lifecycle.

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure locations for Mobility Energy Projects by researching and identifying suitable planning areas based on nearby renewable energy projects, commercial customers, and major motorways
  • Conduct potential area analyses and assess project locations using GIS and public sources
  • Procure cadastral maps, topographic maps, and owner data
  • Inspect and document potential sites
  • Negotiate and conclude purchase, usage, easements contracts with third parties and with legal team support to secure necessary land
  • Stay involved in land securing throughout project phases as required
  • Represent VSB to customers, partners, associations, and at official appointments, including negotiations with stakeholders
  • Network in the region, including attending events, council meetings, and trade fairs
  Project Development 
  • Develop and plan innovative Mobility Energy Projects, focusing on combining EV charging with commercial and industrial customers and other renewable energy projects
  • Manage preliminary project development, including layout proposals, feasibility studies, and permits
  • Create technical preliminary plans for integrated energy systems, especially EV charging with photovoltaics, battery storage, and wind turbines
  • Coordinate grid connection and construction pre-requests with other departments
  • Coordinate potential tender responses (public and private)
  • Manage decentralized structures, processes, and tools for efficient project handling
  • Analyze market potential, define criteria, and select target projects, create and proactively manage the project pipeline for Mobility Energy Projects
  • Coordinate with authorities, municipalities, experts, and other project stakeholders

Your profile

These are the main qualifications enabling you to play a key role in shaping the future of E-Mobility:
  • University degree in Business, Project Management or Engineering
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in development, project management, EV charging, e-mobility, and/or other renewable energy projects
  • Knowledge in the field of real estate and infrastructure planning as well as in the technical field of energy and electrical engineering (focus areas: EV charging, battery storage, photovoltaics, wind, medium voltage). 
  • Knowledge of GIS and common MS Office tools 
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Willingness to travel and work from the project areas
  • Very good communication skills and strong team spirit
  • Start-up mentality and adaptability; independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong sales attitude and confident negotiation skills
  • Very good networking abilities
  • Experience in cooperation with public authorities, regional road operators, municipalities, grid connection companies
